Day 1. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city | D | Overnight: HCMC

Warm welcome upon your arrival in Tan Son Nhat International Airport – HCMC – a city full of surprises. The city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings and offers plenty of reasons to visit, from its blend of historic, attractions to vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife.

Meet your local guide at the airport for a transfer to hotel. Check in. At leisure. Your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at the Bonsai cruise on the Saigon river. Back to hotel. At leisure.

Day 2. HCMC & China Town Sightseeing | B - L | Overnight: HCMC

In the morning you have a tour visiting some of its famous attractions such as the Reunification Palace, the Municipal Theatre, the City Post Office, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum. You can also have a walk through the city’s main shopping boulevard with fashionable boutiques and hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and house-wares and end up at the Ben Thanh market, one of the city biggest markets.

Afternoon is time to explore the China town: the western part of the city is dominated by Cholon (Chinatown), a thickly settled district rife with tea houses and pagodas and the famous Binh Tay Market. Visit the Thien Hau pagoda which features interesting Chinese-Buddhist style architecture and interiors with pagodas, courtyards, altars and paintings.

Day 3. Mekong Delta Excursion | B - L | Overnight: HCMC

Today you have am excursion to the Mekong Delta. Surrounded by thousands of crisscrossed canals, life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, most of the villages are often accessible by rivers and canals rather than by road. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet, one of the four famous islets ( Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix). Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Enjoy lunch with local special dishes followed by the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people.

Day 4. Fly to Danang - Hoi An | B - D | Overnight: Hoi An

Enjoy your free time until transfer to airport for flight to Danang for Hoi An. Hoi An used to be an international trade center by sea on the east area in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was the busiest trading port during the reign of Nguyen as merchants from Japan, China, Portugal, Spain, Holland stopped over to exchange and purchase commodities.

Meet your local guide at the airport for a transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. At leisure then you enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5. Hoi An Cooking Class | B | Overnight: Hoi An

The cooking class begins with a with a drink at Hai Scout Café followed by a visit the Hoi An’s colorful market. It is time to get in touch with local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients for your own cooking lesson. Take the Red Bridge boat cruising along the Hoi An river to the cooking school. Upon arrival, you explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden and learn about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes.  The 2-hour cooking lesson includes  a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving . You also have a chance to try some dishes yourselves. Lunch is served included what you have cooked. Relax and back to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 6. Cham Island excursion | B - L | Overnight: Hoi An

In the morning you take a wooden boat cruising to the Cham Island which constitutes a group of 8 small islands of Quango Nam province and form a part of the Cu Lao Cham Marine Park, a world Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO. Upon arrival you enjoy snorkeling on coral reef (MPA) and visit the island and become familiar with the names Ong Beach, Bim Beach, Chong Beach, Bac Beach, Tinh spring, Ong spring. Lunch at local restaurant then you go to Lang Beach to see Au Thuyen (a shelter for boats in bad weather), Tay Tang pagoda and Whale temple, a place for worshipping a whale buried right there. Boat trip back to your hotel.

Day 7 - Day 9. Free & Easy | B | Overnight: Hoi An

Today you have a free  day for relaxation at the resort , joining some water sports, diving, snorkeling, sunset watching or take a bicycle to discover the other sides of Hoi An, visiting some handicraft village nearby or  visit another World Heritages Sites in the Central as My Son Ruins or simple going to the town and experience the bespoke clothing tailoring or relax with a cup of coffee in a local street pub are worth to try.

Day 10. Hue Citadel Excursion | B - L | Overnight: Hoi An

In the morning you have a drive to visit Hue Citadel. Located in central Vietnam, the World Cultural Heritage Site Hue used to be the Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945.  Visit the king Minh Mang’s tomb and the king Tu Duc’s tomb. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to explore the Hue Citadel and the Forbidden city before back to Hoi An town.

Day 11. Fly to Hanoi | B - D | Overnight: Hanoi

Again you take a one-hour flight to Hanoi, the one-thousand-year old city and the capital of Vietnam. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the  downtown.  At leisure. Meet your guide again for a water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 12. Hanoi – Halong Bay | B- L - D | Overnight: Traditional Junk

In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Welcome on board upon arrival Tuan Chau Harbor. Enjoy a welcome drink. Brief introduction by the cruise manager. Cabin check-in. Lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Stop at the Pearl Farm village. Take a kayak around Pearl Farm village. Continue to the Titop Island. Free choice of activities such as sunbathing, swimming or climb up to the peak of the Titop for the panorama view of the Halong bay. Return to the cruise. Join in the Cooking Demonstration by the cruise chef to prepare some Vietnamese dishes followed by the Sunset Cocktail on the Sundeck followed by a Vietnamese set menu dinner. Evening you are free to join some cruise activities including chat around the bar, watching movies of Vietnamese films, playing cards, playing chess, reading or try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 13. Halong Bay - Hanoi | Brunch | Overnight: Hanoi

Early bird to join Tai Chi on the sundeck. Enjoy sunrise at the bay followed by a light breakfast. Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes to explore the cave one of the most beautiful cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the cruise. Cabin check-out . Light lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Disembarkation. Rejoin your car back to hotel in Hanoi. At leisure.

Day 14. Departure Hanoi | Meal: B

Enjoy your free time at your hotel or you can do your last minute souvenir shopping before transfer to airport for your flight home. Have a good journey and thanks for joining us.
