Day 1. Welcome to Yangon | D | Overnight: Yangon

Warm welcome upon your arrival in Yagon. Your guide and driver will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel for a short break. Meet your guide again to visit the 2200-year-old Sule Pagoda follwed by an city orientation passing the Yangon City Hall which feature the Myanmar classic architectural design. Stop for a walk along Strand Road to the admire British old colonial buildings. In the afternoon you visit the famous Shwedagon pagoda, one of the wonders of the world, built 2500 years ago and enshrines strands of Buddha’s hair and other holy relics. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point. Welcome dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2. Fly to Bagan | B - D | Overnight: Bagan

Today you fly to Bagan. Upon arrival you visit the Shwezigone pagoda, home to the Frontlet Relic of Buddha followed by the Gubyaukgyi temple and the Htilominlo Pagoda, one of the largest temples of Bagan.  Continue exploring Bagan with the Ananda Okkyaung monastery followed by the Bagan’s most massive shrine Dhammayangyi Pagoda and the Bagan’s tallest Thatbyinnyu pagoda and the unique sandstone monument Nanpaya temple. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda and dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3. Salay village & Mount Popa | B - L | Overnight: Bagan

Today you have an excursion to visit Salay and Mount Popa. Stop at the local market Chauk on the way to the village of Salay. Salay is an important Buddhist centre with its famed wooden monastery with intricate carvings. Continue to Mt Popa, 1518 meters high from sea level which plays an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. Back to Bagan. At leisure.

Day 4. Fly to Mandalay - Amarapura | B - D | Overnight: Mandalay

Today you catch an early fly to Mandalay,  the cultural heart of Myanmar, founded in 1857 by King Mindom.  On arrival you drive to Amarapura – “the city of Immortality” founded in 1783 AD. Visit the Mahaganthayon Monastery and enjoy the serenity of the U Bein wooden bridge and the Taung-Ta-Man Lak.  Afternoon you visit the Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image and the reconstructed Mya Nan San Kyaw Palace then stop at the handicraft workshops of  bronze sculpting, gold leaf beating and marble stone carving. Continue to visit the Cathode Pagoda, considered as the world’s largest book with the Buddhist scriptures inscribed. Refresh at the Mandalay Hill and enjoy the sunset over the city plains before dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5. Saigaing & Mingun| B – L | Overnight: Mandalay

In the morning you drive to the Sagaing hill with its over 600 Buddhist monasteries.  Visit the U Min Thonze, the Ywahtaung silver village and the impressive Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda nearby. Take a private boat to Mingun to visit its famous huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda built by King Bodaw Badon in 1791 and the Mingun Bell, considered as the biggest hanging bell in the world. Last stop is the handicraft workshop of bronze sculpting, gold leaf beating and marble stone carving before back to hotel. At leisure.

Day 6. Fly to Heho - Inle Lake | B - D | Overnight: Inle Lake

Today you leave Bagan for Heho by plane then to Inle Lake, the 2nd largest lake in Myanmar, 22 kilometers long and 11 kilometer wide located in the Shan state. Upon arrival you have a one-hour drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake. Visit the wooden Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery an join in the local colorful market.  Take a motorboat crusing on the Inle Lake.  Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda with its 800-years-old Buddha statues and the Nga Phe Chaung ancient monastery. Continue to the weaving village of Inpawkhone and the Burmese cigars factory before ending at your hotel. Dinner and enjoy your time at the lake.

Day 7. Floating market - In Dein village | B - D | Overnight: Inle Lake

In the morning you have a boat trip to join in the rotation floating market and get in touch with the colorful hill tribes.  It is a good chance to see different ethnic communities such as Danu, Pa O and Palang  to sell their products. Continue travelling down a small canal to Indein to the villages of the ethnic Padaung (“long neck women”).  A short walk to discover the magnificent complex of Alaung Sithu of ancient stupas buried in vegetation. Back to hotel. At leisure.

Day 8. Fly to Yangon | B | Overnight: Yangon

In the morning you fly back to Yangon.  Upon arrival you visit the Lawka Chanthar, the world’s biggest marble Buddha. You may like to visit the Kandawgyi Lake and surrounding areas, which offer numerous photo opportunities or the famous MK gems shop selling high quality gems. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 9. Fly to Hanoi - Vietnam | B – D | Overnight: Hanoi

Today you have a flight from Myanmar for Hanoi-Vietnam. Warm welcome upon your arrival in Hanoi. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the downtown. After check in you have free time to relax, then your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Your day will be completed by a water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam.

Day 10. Hanoi Sightseeing | B - L | Overnight: Hanoi

This full day sightseeing offers you Hanoi’s most interesting places including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Former Prison, Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub before back to hotel. At leisure.

Day 11. Hanoi - Halong Bay | B - L - D | Overnight: Traditional Junk

In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Welcome drink on board upon arrival Tuan Chau Harbor. Cabin check-in. Lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Stop at the Pearl Farm village. Take a kayak around Pearl Farm village before sailing to the Titop Island. Time for sunbathing, swimming or climb up to the peak of the Titop for the panorama view of the Halong bay. Return to the cruise. Join in the Cooking demonstration by the cruise chef to prepare some Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy the Sunset Cocktail on the Sundeck. Dinner with Vietnamese set-menu. Evening you are free to join some cruise activities including chat around the bar, watching movies of Vietnamese films, playing cards, playing chess, reading or try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 12. Halong Bay – Fly to Danang | Brunch | Overnight: Hoi An

Early bird to join Tai Chi on the sundeck. Enjoy sunrise at the bay followed by a light breakfast. Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes to explore the cave one of the most beautiful cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the cruise. Cabin check-out. Light lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Disembarkation. Rejoin your car transfer to airport for flight to Danang. Meet your local guide at the Danang Airport for a transfer to Hoi An. Check-in. At leisure.

Day 13. Hoi An Town - Tra Que village | B – L | Overnight: Hoi An

In the morning you have a walk to explore the Hoi An Ancient town with old houses, narrow streets, moss-grown walls, lantern makers. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop and enjoy traditional arts performance. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon you ride by bicycle about 3km from Hoi An town to Tra Que Vegetable village, “the loveliest village on earth”. At the village you can experience of being a farmer, take photos of rice field and vegetable village, enjoy a leisurely walk taking and a stunning sunset or take a foot massage with the ingredients from Tra Que herbs and surround yourself with stunning landscape. Ride back to the town. At leisure.

Day 14. Hue Citadel Excursion | B - L | Overnight: Hoi An

Today you have an excursion to explore Hue city and Hue Citadel. Your first stop is the Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. Continue drive to visit the king Minh Mang’s tomb. Lunch a local restaurant then you explore the Hue Citadel and the Forbidden city followed by Dong Ba market on a bank of the Perfume river – a paradise for snapshots of daily activities before drive back to Hoi An.

Day 15. Hoi An Cooking Class | B - L| Overnight: Hoi An

The cooking class begins with a with a drink at Hai Scout Café followed by a visit the Hoi An colorful market. It is time to get in touch with local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients for your own cooking lesson. Take the Red Bridge boat cruising along the Hoi An river to the cooking school. On arrival, you explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden and learn about some of Hoi An and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The 2-hour cooking lesson includes a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving . You also have a chance to try some dishes yourselves. Lunch is served included what you have cooked. Relax and back to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 16. Fly to HCMC - Sightseeing | B - D | Overnight: HCMC

Again you take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh city, a city full of surprises. The city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings and offers plenty of reasons to visit, from its blend of historic, attractions to vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife.
Afternoon you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and War Remnants Museum then having a walk through the city downtown and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Enjoy dinner at the Bonsai cruise on the Saigon river.

Day 17. Cu Chi Tunnels | B | Overnight: HCMC

In the morning you drive to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. This underground complex is a must-see when you are in HCMC. You are invited to crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system or try a shooting range where you can fire a number of assault rifles, such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Back to HCMC. At leisure.

Day 18. Mekong Delta Excursion | B - L | Overnight: HCMC

Today you have an excursion to the Mekong Delta. Surrounded by thousands of crisscrossed canals, life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, most of the villages are often accessible by rivers and canals rather than by road. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet, one of the four famous islets ( Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix). Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Enjoy lunch with local special dishes followed by the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people.

Day 19. Departure HCMC | B

Enjoy your free time at your hotel or you can do last minute souvenir shopping before meeting your guide for transfer to airport for your flight home. Have a nice journey. Thanks for joining us.
