Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Welcome on board. Enjoy the cruise program with the beautiful scenery and joining some activity as kayaking, swimming and visit Halong pearl farm at the Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy dinner at cruise restaurant. Evening activities including chat around the bar, watching movies of Vietnamese films, playing cards, playing chess, reading or try your luck with squid fishing.
Continue the cruise program exploring the Halong Bay, enjoy the bay's magnificent scenery of countless rugged limestone islands. Early bird to join Tai Chi on the sundeck. Enjoy sunrise at the bay followed by a light breakfast.Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes to explore the cave one of the most beautiful cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the cruise. Today you have a whole day to explore Hue city. You may want to spend full-day with a dragon boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda followed by visiting some tombs of Nguyen Dynasty kings, Hue Citadel and Dong Ba local market. You also can spend half-day to explore Hue Citadel and tombs of Nguyen Dynasty kings and another half-day to visit one of the Hue handicraft village as Phuoc Tich ancient village or Thanh Toan village. Today you leave Hue for Hoi An, another World Heritage site in the Central Vietnam. Hoi An is one of the oldest towns in south-east Asia and characterized by a rich blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and European architecture. Formerly known as Faifo, the ancient riverside town of Hoi An was a major trading port from the 16th to the 19th century. Journey to Hoi An is travelling over the Hai Van pass where you have a stop for a panoramic view over the Lang Co beach. On the way to Hoi An you may like to stop at Museum of Cham Sculpture or Marble Mountains and Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village
Your stay in the Hoi An Ancient town will be full of interesting. You can spend the morning walking to explore the ancient town with with old houses, narrow streets and stop to visit the lantern makers, Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop. Hoi An tailor-made clothing fast services is famous and worth to try. Do not forget to taste Hoi An street food. Afternoon you may want to explore the countryside by visiting one of Hoi An famous handicraft villages as Tra Que village or Kim Bong village. Dinner and experience the Quang Nam cuisine.
Again you take an one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh city, the most dynamic one where everyone seems busy riding, buying, selling, studying. However, the city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings. In the afternoon you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum then having a walk through the city downtown and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Tonight you dinner on the Bonsai cruises dinner on the Saigon river.
HCMC is a city full of surprises. The city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings and offers plenty of reasons to visit, from its blend of historic, attractions to vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife.
The Free Choice Sightseeing is to maximize your day in HCMC on your own way. You may want to spend half-day to explore the city and half-day driving for the Cu Chi tunnels, a must-see when you are in HCMC. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet, one of the four famous islets. Visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Enjoy lunch with local special dishes followed by the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people.
