In the North Vietnam you visit Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam and have a wonderful overnight in the World Natural Heritage Site Halong Bay on a deluxe traditional junk.
Day 1: Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city | Meal: D| Overnight: HCMC
Warm welcome upon your arrival in HCMC. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the downtown. After check in you will have free time to relax, then your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at the river cruises on the Saigon river.
Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s commercial hub and largest city, and it’s a place where old abuts new with striking contrast. Temples huddle amid skyscrapers and designer shops, locals cast bamboo fishing rods into the languorous Saigon River, and in places, the city feels almost European, with its elegant French colonial architecture and wide, tree-lined avenues.
Day 2: HCMC & Cu Chi tunnels | Meal: B-L | Overnight: HCMC
In the morning you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and War Remnants Museum then having a walk through the city downtown and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Afternoon you drive to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. This underground complex is a must-see when you are in HCMC. You are invited to crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system or try a shooting range where you can fire a number of assault rifles, such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Back to HCMC. At leisure.
Day 3: Fly to Hue – Half-day Tour | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hue
Enjoy your free time until transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Your local guide meets you at the airport for a transfer to hotel. Free. At leisure. In the afternoon you explore the Hue Citadel. End of the day you visit the local Dong Ba market located on a bank of the Perfume river – a paradise for snapshots of daily activities. Evening meeting with your guide again for a Hue Royal style dinner, taste some Royal cuisines at local restaurant.
Established as the capital of unified Viet Nam in 1802, Hue was not only the political but also the cultural and religious center under the Nguyen dynasty until 1945. The Perfume River winds its way through the Hue Citadel giving this unique feudal capital a setting of great natural beauty.
Day 4: Boat trip - Hue - Hoi An | Meal: B - D | Overnight: Hoi An
In the morning you have a Dragon boat cruising on the Perfume river to visit the Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. From there you rejoin your car to visit the king Minh Mang’s tomb and king Tu Duc’s tomb. Back to hotel for short break then you leave Hue for Hoi An, another World Heritage site in Central Vietnam. Journey to Hoi An is travelling over the Hai Van pass where you have a stop for a panoramic view over the Lang Co beach before arriving your hotel in Hoi An. At leisure then you enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5: Hoi An Walking Tour – Fly to Hanoi | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hanoi
In the morning you have a walking tour to explore the Hoi An Ancient town with old houses, narrow streets, moss-grown walls, lantern makers. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop and enjoy traditional arts performance. Afternoon you take an one-hour flight to Hanoi. Meet your guide at the airport for a transfer to located in the downtown. At leisure. Your guide see you again for dinner at a local restaurant. Your first day in Hanoi is completed by a water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam.

This full day tour offers you Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda followed by Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century.
Hanoi Street Food Tasting: Time to sample some Hanoi famous street dishes below followed by a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub. Famous world-over, Vietnamese coffee is strong, often served over ice, and with a rich sweet flavor from condensed milk . Comprised of chaos and charm in equal parts, Hanoi is worth to explore and a foodie’s dream, offering some of the best street food in the world. Small local street food eateries are everywhere in Hanoi, with the smoke from chargrilled pork wafting through the streets and a bubbling stockpot of fragrant pho on every corner.

Day 7: Hanoi – Halong Bay | Meal: B-L-D | Overnight: Traditional Junk
In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Welcome on board upon arrival Tuan Chau Harbor. Enjoy a welcome drink. Brief introduction by the cruise manager. Cabin check-in. Enjoy the cruise program with the beautiful scenery and joining some activity as kayaking, swiming and visit Halong pearl farm at the Lan Ha Bay. After dinner you are free to join some cruise activities including chat around the bar, watching movies of Vietnamese films, playing cards, playing chess, reading or try your luck with squid fishing.
Located in the Gulf of Tonkin in the northeast of Vietnam, Halong Bay boasts a magnificent scenery and covers an area of 43,400 ha and including over 1600 islands and islets, most of which are uninhabited and unaffected by humans, it forms a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars and is an ideal model of a mature Karst landscape developed during a warm and wet tropical climate. Day 8: Ceramic village - Hanoi | Meal : B-L | Overnight: Hanoi
Early bird with exercises with Tai chi on the sundeck then enjoy a light breakfast while cruising to Hon Co area. Stop to exploring Thien Canh Son Cave, located at the centre of the World Heritage Area- Halong Bay. Return to the boat for check out and relaxing on sundeck or watching fruits carving demonstration or enjoy the last of the Ha Long Bay scenery over lunch as the boat is cruising back to shore. On the journey back to Hanoi you will have a stop at the Phu Lang ceramic village – one of the most famous ceramic brand dated from 17th – 19th century in the North of Vietnam.
Day 9: Departure Hanoi | Meal : B
