Warm welcome upon your arrival in Yangon, the main gateway to the rest of Myanmar. Your guide meets you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you visit to the Sule Pagoda and the Yangon City Hall which feature the Myanmar classic architectural design and the High Court built in the British colonial architecture. Day 2: Fly to Bagan plane | Meal: B - D | Overnight: Bagan
Today you fly to Bagan. Upon arrival you visit the Shwezigone pagoda, home to the Frontlet Relic of Buddha followed by the Gubyaukgyi temple and the Htilominlo Pagoda, one of the largest temples of Bagan. Continue exploring Bagan with the Ananda Okkyaung monastery followed by the Bagan’s most massive shrine Dhammayangyi Pagoda and the Bagan’s tallest Thatbyinnyu pagoda and the unique sandstone monument Nanpaya temple. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda and dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3: Bagan | Meal: B - L | Overnight: Bagan
Bagan was the capital of the first Myanmar Empire and is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia with more than 2,000 well-preserved pagodas and temples dating from the 11th through 13th centuries. In the morning you drive to visit the Hindu Nathlaung Kyaungtemple , the Myazedi Pagoda and the Nagayon pagodabuilt in the 11thcentury. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon you visit the Manual Temple – oldest temple in Bagan then back to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Fly to Mandalay – Amarapura | Meal: B - D | Overnight: Mandalay
Today you catch an early fly to Mandalay, the cultural heart of Myanmar, founded in 1857 by King Mindom. On arrival you drive to Amarapura – “the city of Immortality” founded in 1783 AD. Visit the Mahaganthayon Monastery and enjoy the serenity of the U Bein wooden bridge and the Taung-Ta-Man Lak. Afternoon you visit the Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image and the reconstructed Mya Nan San Kyaw Palace then stop at the handicraft workshops of bronze sculpting, gold leaf beating and marble stone carving. Continue to visit the Cathode Pagoda, considered as the world’s largest book with the Buddhist scriptures inscribed. Refresh at the Mandalay Hill and enjoy the sunset over the city plains before dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5: Saigaing & Mingun Excursion| Meal: B – L | Overnight: Mandalay
In the morning you drive to the Sagaing hill with its over 600 Buddhist monasteries. Visit the U Min Thonze, the Ywahtaung silver village and the impressive Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda nearby. Take a private boat to Mingun to visit its famous huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda built by King Bodaw Badon in 1791 and the Mingun Bell, considered as the biggest hanging bell in the world. Last stop is the handicraft workshop of bronze sculpting, gold leaf beating and marble stone carving before back to hotel. At leisure.

In the morning you fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival you visit the Lawka Chanthar, the world’s biggest marble Buddha. You may like to visit the Kandawgyi Lake and surrounding areas, which offer numerous photo opportunities or the famous MK gems shop selling high quality gems. Rest of the day is at leisure.
