This trip is to offer you the experiences of the local cultures, places of interesting, peoples and cuisines of the three countries Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia  which well known as the Indochina. Your trip will start from Vientiane, capital of Laos then take flight to Luang Prabang – the former capital of the first Laos Kingdom (Lan Xang – land of the million elephants) and now is the World Heritage site  where you are connected to Vietnam and down along the Vietnamese coastal line to enjoy its wonderful sea, beaches, junk, delta; stay in the comfortable resorts and taste the  different foods, get in touch with different peoples, listen to their local accents before coming to one of the World Wonder  the Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom.  

Day 1. Welcome to Vientiane | D| Overnight: Vientiane

Warm welcome upon your arrival in Vientiane – Laos. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the downtown. Check-in. At leisure. Your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 2. Vientiane sightseeing | B - L | Overnight: Vientiane

Enjoy your whole day to explore all the places of interest Vientiane has to offer including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, the former Royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image, the famous That Luang Stupa and the Patuxay Monument. You also have an orientation tour  of the capital through the most historical sites and some of the French colonial architecture and enjoy the sunset by the Mekong River or visit the night market before back to hotel.

Day 3. Fly to Luang Prabang | B - D | Overnight: Luang Prabang

Free until meet your guide for a transfer you to airport for a short flight to Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang is considered  the best-preserved traditional city the  Southeast Asia and one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. Free. At leisure. Your guide see you again for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4. Luang Prabang & Pak Ou caves | B - D | Overnight: Luang Prabang

Early start will give you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique to Laos, it being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual.

Take a boat trip upstream the Mekong River to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by devoted pilgrim with a stop at the village of Ban Xanghai to taste Laos wiskey.

In the afternoon you  visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai before climbing up to the top of Mount Phousi  to enjoy a panorama view of Luang Prabang and the sunset on the Mekong River.  Dinner at a local restaurant and join in night market.

Day 5. Khouangsi Water-fall | B | Overnight: Luang Prabang

Today you drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. Continue to visit the Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute) Papermaking. Back to the city to enjoy the sunset at the Wat Siphouthabath famous for the footprints of the Buddha.

Day 6. Fly to Hanoi | B - D | Overnight: Hanoi

Today you have a flight from Laos for Hanoi, the one-thousand-year old city and the capital of Vietnam. Meet your guide at the Noi Bai airport for a transfer to hotel. At leisure. Your guide see you again for a water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7. Hanoi sightseeing | B - L | Overnight: Hanoi

This full day sightseeing offers you Hanoi’s most interesting places, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Former Prison, Ngoc Son Temple. End your day with a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub. Back to hotel. At leisure.

Day 8. Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Excursion | B - L | Overnight: Hanoi

In the morning you drive from Hanoi for Ninh Binh to visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and Tam Coc caves located in the Red River Delta. Your first stop is the Dinh-Le temples. These two temples are constructed by near the center of the old capital in order to honor Dinh Bo Linh, the first emperor of Vietnam and Le Dai Hanh who founded the Le Dynasty in the 10th and 11th centuries. In the afternoon you take a sampan to explore the Tam Coc caves. Back to hotel. At leisure.

Day 9. Hanoi - Halong Bay | B - L - D | Overnight: Traditional Junk

In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Welcome drink on board upon arrival Tuan Chau Harbor. Cabin check-in. Lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Stop at the Pearl Farm village. Take a kayak around Pearl Farm village before sailing to the Titop Island. Time for sunbathing, swimming or climb up to the peak of the Titop for the panorama view of the Halong bay. Return to the cruise. Join in the Cooking demonstration by the cruise chef to prepare some Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy the Sunset Cocktail on the Sundeck. Dinner with Vietnamese set-menu. Evening you are free to join some cruise activities including chat around the bar, watching movies of Vietnamese films, playing cards, playing chess, reading or try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 10. Halong - Lao Cai / Sapa by train | Brunch - D | Overnight: Train

Early bird to join Tai Chi on the sundeck. Enjoy sunrise at the bay followed by a light breakfast. Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes to explore the cave one of the most beautiful cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the cruise. Cabin check-out. Light lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Disembarkation. Rejoin your car back to Hanoi.  Dinner at local restaurant and catch a night train to Lao Cai.

Day 11. Lao Cai - Sapa | B - D | Overnight: Sapa

Early arrive in Lao Cai, a Vietnam-China border city.  Pick-up and transfer to Sapa town. Enjoy the North Vietnam mountainous area with its winding road, terrace rice fields and minority ethnic villages. At leisure or explore the mountainous town on your own (early check-in is subject to availability).

Afternoon you have a short walking tour to visit the Cat Cat village – home of the H’Mong ethnic people located in the beautiful valley and learn about their unique customs and practices. Stop at the Cat Cat waterfall for some photo shots before returning to hotel. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Day 12. Sapa villages - Hanoi | B - L - D | Overnight: Train

You start the day with a soft trek along buffalo paths to the Ta van and Lao Chai, villages of the H’Mong and the Day ethnic peoples. Enjoy the stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people. More time to learn about other ethnic community in Sapa. Lunch at local restaurant. Meet you driver at the village for transfer to Lao Cai. Dinner at local restaurant then you catch a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 13. Fly to Danang / Hoi An | B - D | Overnight: Hoi An

Early arrive in Hanoi. Meet you driver at the station. Enjoy a Vietnamese breakfast with a cup of coffee at local street pub. Transfer to airport for a short flight to Danang. Pick-up and transfer to Hoi An. Hoi An used to be an international trade center by sea on the east area in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was the busiest trading port during the reign of Nguyen as merchants from Japan, China, Portugal, Spain, Holland stopped over to exchange and purchase commodities.  At leisure. Evening your guide see you again for a dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 14. My Son Ruins - Hoi An Town | B - D | Overnight: Hoi An

In the morning you drive to visit the World Heritage My Son Ruins, comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the 2nd century.  My Son was the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century and a must-see for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations.

Afternoon you have a  walking tour to explore the Hoi An Ancient town with old houses, narrow streets, moss-grown walls, lantern makers and visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop and enjoy traditional arts performance. Dinner with some famous dishes of the town.

Day 15. Hue Citadel Excursion | B - L | Overnight: Hoi An

Today you have an excursion to explore Hue city and Hue Citadel. Your first stop is the Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. Continue drive to visit the king Minh Mang’s tomb. Lunch a local restaurant then you explore the Hue Citadel and the Forbidden city followed by Dong Ba market on a bank of the Perfume river – a paradise for snapshots of daily activities before drive back to Hoi An.

Day 16. Fly to HCMC - Sightseeing | B - D | Overnight: HCMC

Again you take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh city, a city full of surprises. The city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings and offers plenty of reasons to visit, from its blend of historic, attractions to vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife.
Afternoon you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and War Remnants Museum then having a walk through the city downtown and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Enjoy dinner at the Bonsai cruise on the Saigon river.

Day 17: Cu Chi tunnels | Meal: B | Overnight: HCMC

In the morning you drive to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Very famous in the wartime with its smart and complicated system including underground meeting room, kitchen, food, weapon caches, hospital. This underground complex is a must-see when you are in HCMC. You are invited to crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system or try a shooting range where you can fire a number of assault rifles, such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Back to HCMC. Rest of the day is your free time.

Day 18. HCMC – My Tho – Can Tho | B - L - D | Overnight: Can Tho

Today you leave HCMC for the Mekong Delta. Surrounded by thousands of crisscrossed canals, life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, most of the villages are often accessible by rivers and canals rather than by road. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet. Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Enjoy lunch with local special dishes followed by the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people.  Rejoin your car for a drive to Can Tho.

Day 19. Floating market – HCMC | B – D | Overnight: HCMC

Early wake up to join in the Cai Rang floating market, one of the most exciting activities you should do when you are in this area. Take a motorized boat to join the market and experience how people exchange goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. You also find floating restaurants, floating bars, floating gas stations, and many other floating shops. Back to the shore. Visit Binh Thuy communal house before back to HCMC. At leisure. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 20. Fly to Siem Reap | B - D | Overnight: Sieam Reap

Today you have a flight to Siem Reap, one of the major tourist hub in Cambodia and the gateway to the world famous temples of Angkor. Meet your local guide for transfer to hotel. Free time to relax, then you explore the city by Tuk Tuk riding around the suburb of Siem Reap followed by a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety. Tonight you enjoy dinner with Apsara Dance show at the local restaurant.

Day 21. Angkor Wat Sunrise & Angkor Complex | B - L | Overnight: Sieam Reap

Early wake up in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the Angkor Temple (option). Back to hotel for breakfast then you discover the Angkor Wat, a temple complex built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Lunch at local restaurant.
You then continue to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Preah Khan temple. In the afternoon you explore the fabulous Ta Prohm temple which embraced by fig and silk-cotton trees puncture the roofs of Ta Prohm’s towers and enjoy the sunset at the Preah Rup temple.

Day 22. Departure Siem Reap | B

In the morning you have a drive to the Phnom Kulen Mountain. Climb up the hill to visit the Srah Damrey, Damreay Krab and Ang Prochiev temple followed by a nice trail of Kulen mountain to reach a special stream with thousands lingas in the water. Short break before transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure. Have a nice journey. Thanks for joining us.
