Day 1: Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city | Meal: D| Overnight: HCMC
Warm welcome upon your arrival in HCMC. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the downtown. After check in you will have free time to relax, then your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at the river cruises on the Saigon river.
Day 2: HCMC & Cu Chi tunnels | Meal: B-L | Overnight: HCMC
In the morning you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and War Remnants Museum then having a walk through the city downtown and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Afternoon you drive to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. This underground complex is a must-see when you are in HCMC. You are invited to crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system or try a shooting range where you can fire a number of assault rifles, such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60.
Today you have am excursion to the Mekong Delta. Surrounded by thousands of crisscrossed canals, life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, most of the villages are often accessible by rivers and canals rather than by road. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet, one of the four famous islets ( Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix). Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Enjoy lunch with local special dishes followed by the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people.
Day 4: Fly to Hue | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hue
Enjoy your free time until transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Located in central Vietnam, the World Cultural Heritage Site Hue used to be the Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. Your local guide meets you at the airport for a transfer to hotel. Free. At leisure. Evening meeting with your guide again for a Hue Royal style dinner, taste some Royal cuisines at local restaurant.
Day 5: Hue full-day tour | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hue
In the morning you have a Dragon boat cruising on the Perfume river to visit the Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. From there you rejoin your car to visit the king Minh Mang’s tomb and king Tu Duc’s tomb. In the afternoon you explore the Hue Citadel. End of the day you visit the local Dong Ba market located on a bank of the Perfume river – a paradise for snapshots of daily activities. Back to hotel for short break then taste Hue cuisines at local restaurant.
Day 6: Hue – Hoi An | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hoi An
Today you leave Hue for Hoi An, another World Heritage site in the Central Vietnam. Journey to Hoi An is travelling over the Hai Van pass where you have a stop for a panoramic view over the Lang Co beach. Hoi An used to be an international trade center by sea on the east area in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was the busiest trading port during the reign of Nguyen as merchants from Japan, China, Portugal, Spain, Holland stopped over to exchange and purchase commodities. At leisure then you enjoy dinner at local restaurant.
Day 7: My Son Ruins & Hoi An | Meal: B -D | Overnight: Hoi An
In the morning you take a trip to discover the World Heritage My Son Ruins, comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the 2nd century. My Son was the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century and a must-see for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations. Afternoon you have a walking tour to explore the Hoi An Ancient town with old houses, narrow streets, moss-grown walls, lantern makers and visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop and enjoy traditional arts performance. Dinner with some famous dishes of the town.
Day 8: Hoi An - Free & Easy | Meal: B | Overnight: Hoi An
Today you have a full day free to enjoy the beach with sun and sea, trying some water sports or come to the town for shopping of the Vietnamese handicraft souvenirs, especially you can visit and try one of the most famous services of Hoi An, a fast-services tailoring. You can order of silk clothes and receive it a few hours later with the best quality and very reasonable price.
Day 9: Fly to Hanoi | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hanoi
Again you take a one-hour flight to Hanoi, the one-thousand-year old city and the capital of Vietnam. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the downtown. Free time to relax, then your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Your first day in Hanoi is completed by a water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam.
Day 10: Hanoi city-tour| Meal: B-L | Overnight: Hanoi
This full day tour offers you Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda followed by QuanThanh Temple and Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century. For lunch you enjoy a Hanoi special dish “Cha Ca” at one of the most unique restaurants located in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Afternoon you visit the Temple of Literature then having a walk around the Sword Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub.
Day 11: Hanoi – Halong Bay | Meal: B-L-D | Overnight: Traditional Junk
In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Enjoy welcome drink onboard then start cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay while lunch is served. Stop to visit and explore Vung Vieng fishing village by bamboo boat or you can have a kayak around Vung Vieng area. Time to relax, sunbath or swimming at Ban Chan Beach. Back to the junk to enjoy the sunset cocktail while the boat is cruising to Cong Do area docking for overnight. BBQ dinner followed by some activities of board games or squid fishing.
Day 12: Fly to Phnom Penh | Meal: B-L-D | Overnight: Phnom Penh
Early bird with exercises with Tai chi on the sundeck then enjoy a light breakfast while cruising to Hon Co area. Stop to exploring Thien Canh Son Cave, located at the centre of the World Heritage Area- Halong Bay. Return to the boat for check out and relaxing on sundeck or watching fruits carving demonstration or enjoy the last of the Ha Long Bay scenery over lunch as the boat is cruising back to shore. Rejoin your car for transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Phnom Penh. After short break your guide see you again for dinner at a local restaurant with some Khmer cuisines.
Day 13: Phnom Penh full-day tour | Meal: B-L | Overnight: Phnom Penh
You have the whole day to visit Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia including Royal Palace where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live, Silver Pagoda and the Wat Phnom Temple, built in 1373and one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Afternoon you have a drive to visit the historical crimes of the Khmer Rouge including the Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison) and the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek.
Day 14: Fly to Siem Reap | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Sieam Reap
Enjoy your free time until transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap, one of the major tourist hub in Cambodia and the gateway to the world famous temples of Angkor. Warm welcome by your local guide for transfer to hotel. Free time to relax, then you explore the city by Tuk Tuk riding around the suburb of Siem Reap followed by a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety. Tonight you enjoy dinner with Apsara Dance show at the local restaurant.
Day 15: Angkor Temple Sunrise & Complex | Meal : B -L | Overnight: Sieam Reap
Early wake up in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the Angkor Temple then you discover the Angkor Wat, a temple complex built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. You then continue to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Preah Khan temple. In the afternoon you explore the fabulous Ta Prohm temple which embraced by fig and silk-cotton trees puncture the roofs of Ta Prohm’s towers and enjoy the sunset at the Preah Rup temple to end the day.
Day 16: Departure Siem Reap | Meal: B
In the morning you have a drive to the Phnom Kulen Mountain. Climb up the hill to visit the Srah Damrey, Damreay Krab and Ang Prochiev temple followed by a nice trail of Kulen mountain to reach a special stream with thousands lingas in the water. Short break before transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure .Have a nice journey and thanks for joining us.
